debsums software package provides tool for verification of installed package files against MD5 checksums, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install debsums
debsums is installed in your system.
Make ensure the debsums package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep debsums *
You will get with debsums package name, version, architecture and description in a table
